It is an exciting time for St Colette’s and for all our pupils and parents. With our new owners Piscari, and a brand new school site at Manor Farm Road, Girton we have been able to relaunch St Colette’s as a truly outstanding example of a 21st Century school for the citizens of our future.
St Colette’s has a long established reputation for providing thousands of children since 1920 with high quality education and academic success, up to the age of 7 years old. It is our vision to sustain and build on this tradition of excellence with high quality education and pastoral care.
At our new school site in Girton, we are able to offer our pupils a wide variety of challenging and stimulating programmes, in and beyond school to develop their interests and abilities to the full. This includes a rich programme of sport, thanks to our new indoor sports hall and outdoor playing fields.
St Colette’s offers its pupils the best start in life with personalised learning programmes and a choice of additional activities that take place before school, during lunchtimes, after school and in the holidays. This is part of our vision to develop talent, support learning needs and provide extended support to meet the specific needs of each family.
Our stimulating and personalised approach promotes the spiritual, moral, cultural, social, intellectual and physical development for every child. The curriculum at the school, prepares each pupil for further learning and lays down the foundations for the opportunities and responsibilities of adult life.
St Colette’s follows the national curriculum as its foundation with core programmes of study in literacy, numeracy, science and ICT. All pupils study art, design and technology, literacy, numeracy, French, geography, history, music, dance, drama and physical education. This core is enhanced through extra curricular activities and study support.
We aim to provide an education that enables our pupils to respond positively to the opportunities and challenges of the rapidly changing world in which we live and work. In particular, to be prepared to engage as individuals, with the rapid expansion of IT and communication technologies.
Come and see what St Colette’s can offer your child. Book an appointment to meet with myself and the team and talk to some of our strongest ambassadors – our children.
